Acceptable Use Policy
1. Scope
This policy applies to all use of VetsGPT. You may use the service for lawful veterinary research, education, and professional decision support within your competence and responsibilities.
2. Clinical safeguards
Treat every answer as research support. Review cited sources, investigate uncertainty or disagreement, and independently verify diagnoses, doses, contraindications, interactions, local authorisations, and other important decisions.
Do not use VetsGPT as an emergency service or delay appropriate assessment, escalation, or treatment while waiting for an answer.
3. Personal and confidential information
Do not submit names, contact details, addresses, clinic identifiers, medical-record or customer numbers, microchip numbers, account credentials, secrets, or other information that identifies a patient, client, employee, or third party.
Do not use VetsGPT to expose, obtain, infer, profile, or exploit another person's personal, sensitive, confidential, or protected information.
4. Security and platform abuse
Do not access another account or chat; bypass authentication, safeguards, or usage limits; probe or exploit vulnerabilities; introduce malicious code; interfere with service operation; scrape or overload the service; reverse engineer protected components; or use automated access unless Vetnio has authorised it in writing.
Do not conceal your identity to facilitate abuse, share credentials, or use outputs to develop or improve a competing model or service except where applicable law expressly permits that activity.
5. Harmful and unlawful use
Do not use VetsGPT to violate law or third-party rights; facilitate fraud, deception, harassment, discrimination, violence, animal cruelty, or other harm; create or distribute malware; or generate content that is illegal or infringes privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual-property rights.
Do not represent an output as human-authored or independently verified where that would be misleading, and do not remove or falsify citations or safety information.
6. Fair access
Respect displayed limits and safeguards. Do not automate requests in a way that overloads the beta or evades limits. If VetsGPT reports a failure or insufficient evidence, do not treat the attempt as a usable answer.
7. Enforcement and reporting
We may investigate suspected violations and restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary. We may preserve and disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, Vetnio, or others.
Report suspected misuse or security issues to support@vetnio.com. Do not publicly disclose a vulnerability before Vetnio has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address it.
